After checking in on Friday enjoy a tour of our island aboard the Old Town Trolley*. At the end of the tour you will be met at the Presidential gates and escorted along this historic avenue to the Harry S Truman Little White House.
The 10th Annual Truman Legacy Symposium begins with complimentary tours of the home where President Truman spent 175 working days of his presidency, the opening Keynote Speaker, and then you will be returned to your hotel by trolley.
The Symposium resumes Saturday morning at the Marriott Beachside Hotel. Senator Roy Blunt of Missouri will be joined by top scholars for a series of panel discussions of the Truman Legacy in the field of Foreign Aid.
Tickets for the Symposium are $125. Tickets for members of the Key West Harry S. Truman Foundation or the Truman Library are $100. *Pick-up and drop-off will be at the Marriott Beachside Hotel and the Hotel Key West. |
