Program Description:
Friday, May 17th there will be a reception at the historic Harry
S. Truman Little White House. Come and tour the home and
enjoy complimentary refreshments on the north lawn. Executive
Director of the Little White House, Robert Wolz, and Clifton
Truman Daniel, eldest grandson of President Truman, will open
the conference. Representative Ike Skelton will give the opening address.

Saturday, May 18th at the Marriott Key West Beachside
Hotel a conference of prominent scholars will explore the
Truman administrations relationship to the National Security
Establishment.

A block of rooms has been saved and are available from May 17 through the conference on May 18. Single and double occupancy is $149 a night plus 12.5% sales tax. THIS RATE IS ONLY GUARANTEED ON ROOM RESERVATIONS MADE BY MAY 4, 2012. This hotel is across the street from the Marriott Key West Resort. The symposium presentations will be held at the Marriott Resort Conference Center.

Reservations require a credit card and one night deposit will be charged. In lieu of a credit card a check may be sent . Cancellations must be received at least three days prior to arrival or the credit card will be charged one night’s room plus tax.
